For our Fairs & Events Branch located at the Amsterdam RAI we are currently looking for a new colleague! As a Logistics Coordinator with DB Schenker, you’ll be responsible for the entire logistics operation for Dutch exhibitors for their worldwide Fairs & Events. You’ll be closely working with the motivated and dedicated Fairs & Events team.


As a Logistics Coordinator you will have the following tasks & responsibilities:

  • Handle the Fairs operations in the broad sense and handle transport documentation including Import & Export freight arrangements for all modalities of transport and warehousing
  • On-site Operations and Customer Services support to manage exhibiters
  • Deal with contractors, co-loaders/carriers on a day-to-day basis and monitor the performance of the contractors, co-loaders/carriers
  • Communicate and liaise with overseas offices / agents and attend to all transportation related problems, customer requests and inquiries

Jouw profiel

Our requirements

  • You have experience in a similar role in the fairs/events forwarding business
  • You excel at working multiple tasks in a hectic, high pressure environment and customer satisfaction is in your nature
  • You are very flexible and open to work evenings and weekends
  • You have a bachelor degree or have reached a similar level of working through experience
  • Good command of the English language, both spoken and written
